How to Replace a Spo-Cha Kiosk Device

This procedure is to be executed by the user.　There are three main steps to execute this procedure.

【Step1】Connecting and starting your Elo device

 1. Lift and remove the cable cover on the left side of the back of the new Elo device.



 2. Connect the power cable; once the power is supplied, the device will start up.



 3. Connect the Ethernet cable to access the internet. 　　　
        ※After all cables are connected, reattach the cable cover and secure it with the included security screws.



 4. On the Elo device, the "Choose Set Up Method" screen will appear. Select "Enroll with EloView."



【Step2】Adjusting Screen Resolution Settings on the Elo Tablet
   1. Press the power button and home button on the back of the device simultaneously to move to the lock screen.
   2. Swipe the lock button to unlock and move to the control panel password entry screen.
   3. Enter the device password [1elo or hp68uk] in the password entry field and tap the check button.
   4. Tap the hamburger button at the top right of the screen to display the Quick Settings screen.
   5. Tap the admin button to move to the Admin password entry screen.
   6. Enter the device password [1elo or hp68uk] in the password entry field and tap the check button.
   7. Tap the settings button to move to the Settings List screen.
   8. Tap "Android Settings" to move to the device settings list screen.
   9. Tap "Display," then tap "Advanced" to move to the Font size settings screen.
 10. Tap "Screen density," select "160MDPI" in the modal, and tap "REBOOT NOW."
 11.  After restarting, perform steps 1 through 9 again.
 12. Tap "Font size" to move to the Font size settings screen.  ※No need to change if it is already Default.
 13. Change the font size to "Default" and tap the back button at the top left of the screen.
 14. Tap "Display" to move to the Display size settings screen.  ※No need to change if it is already Default.
 15. Change the display size to "Default" and tap the back button at the top left of the screen.
 16. Press the power button and home button on the back of the device simultaneously. 
 17. After restarting, tap the "×" button at the top right of the screen.

【Step3】Initial Setup of the Spo-Cha Kiosk App

　[3.1] Initial Startup 　Note: If this step has already been completed, please proceed to [4.2].

   1. In the app settings screen, enter the password [default password: 12345678] and tap OK.



   2. In the App Settings screen, enter the [Device Name] and [Store Server domain]. 
            ※ This is only required on the first launch.



　[3.2] After Initial Setup
        After the initial setup, the device will restart and automatically display the start screen.
